Welcome back to my four-part series, The Art of Using Digital Media to Grow Your Small Business. In the last two segments we covered illustrating your Brand Identity and tips to create powerful Strategic Messaging . Today we’re going to focus on getting your messaging from you to your clients and customers. And it’s all about working smarter, not harder.

Let’s dig into it!

Marketing Strategy

The Secrets To Getting Your Content Seen Faster, More Often And Everywhere Without It Taking All Your Time

Now that you have some powerful new content marketing skills, and an awareness of what it takes to create killer-magnetic content, you’re ready to increase your online presence.

Get ready to dive deep into understanding how to “engage” online and use technology, apps, and algorithms to amplify your message and create digital synergy so that you start getting seen!

WHAT OFTEN STOPS PEOPLE AT THIS POINT IS TIME.

Busy professionals complain that they simply don’t have enough time to do “all the things.” They struggle to find time for the content creation process. They over-think it. They don’t know how to use time-saving apps.

Or, they may create content that gets a lot of attention, yet they don’t know how to get more people to see it or use it to create more momentum.

They end up outsourcing content creation to an agency and often find themselves back where they started from when the agency creates content that looks like everyone else’s and does nothing to generate leads.

Sound familiar?

I get it: creating compelling content and uploading it consistently is a challenge when you’re busy doing important work and running a business.

So is engaging when people start to respond.

What do you say to people who comment on your posts? Where do you engage them – on your posts or privately?

There is a lot to navigate here, but it’s all manageable once you understand these things:

  1. What “engagement” really means on a social platform and how to do it so you work the algorithm to your advantage;
  2. What types of content work best on which platforms; and
  3. Timesaving apps that make it super easy to create and schedule great content on the go.

Social media platforms allow you to use Facebook as a net to captivate ideal clients so you can market to them, or use podcasting or vlogging to give your audience more intimate value. Most common social media marketing these days consist of posting videos on Instagram Stories and IGTV to connect with your audience.

You can add links to your social bios, and connect them to great creative content your followers downloaded that serves as a valuable resource, and a reminder of who you are and how you can help them.

THERE ARE SO MANY APPS YOU CAN USE ON YOUR PHONE IN ORDER TO CREATE CONTENT THAT’S VISUALLY STUNNING AND SUPER CREATIVE.

Just a couple of my favorites are “hyperspective” and “animoto” (both are available in the App Store).

If you are willing to experiment, you’ll be amazed at how fun apps are to use and how easy it is to make creative content, and the impression this can make.

When I first became serious about making videos, I experimented with these and the feedback I received was amazing.

The same is true for me today. In fact, I find it fun to experiment with creating new types of content that surprise and delight my audience in unexpected ways.

Then, when I publish content that’s more serious, I really command attention.

IT’S AMAZING HOW THIS WORKS, AND IT CAN WORK FOR YOU TOO.
